Why should I give?
Without your generosity, Olathe Life Fellowship would be unable help others in a hurting world and lead people to a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ. What we do at Olathe Life Fellowship is possible because of your donations.
How much should I give?
Money is talked about in the Bible more than any other topic. Giving is the only area in the Bible where God invites us to test Him. Give your tithe (i.e. the first 10% of your income) to God and see if He does not open the floodgates of heaven to bless you in ways that you never dreamed possible. (Malachi 3:10)
What are different ways I can give?
There are many ways you can give. You can always give in the church service with cash, check, debit or credit card. Don’t carry cash or checks? Neither do we…so we’ve made it easy to give to OLF through online giving. We recommend establishing automatic giving through your bank account, debit or credit card. Here are a few of the benefits:
- It's a step of faith...deciding in advance to give.
- It helps simplify life...no trying to remember whether or not you've given this month.
- It allows you to give consistently and stay on track with your budget and goals.
- It allows you to focus on the service when you're at church...if you really like dropping something in the offering bucket, just drop an empty offering envelope in so we can recycle the unused envelopes.
There are also several alternative forms of giving (e.g. securities, life insurance, real estate and other assets). If you are interested in any of these options or are confused on how to give online, please contact us at info@olathelifefellowship.org or 913-390-1200.
